Gamble Gets 6-year Extension  | read this item

The Carolina Panthers signed cornerback Chris Gamble to a six year extension on Friday, keeping the cornerback with the team until 2015.  Gamble, who was drafted in the first round by the Panthers in 2004 has been an integral part of the Panthers defense over the past five seasons.
Personally I still haven’t forgiven him for that ridiculous pass punt return back in 2006 which lost the game, and in my opinion the season, for the Panthers.  But hey, that’s in the past.  Gamble has more than made up for that, particularly this season, with 15 passes defended, two interceptions, and 65 tackles.
