Carolina Panthers have to take a quick decision by Thursday afternoon about what the club is to do with its eleven restricted free agents.

With such a thin crop in a year of desirable unrestricted free agents, some of them could be, for better deals, in the market elsewhere. But Carolina Panthers got the opportunity of retaining all the free agents if they want. If not, then to get some compensation to them in most of the cases.
One year nonguaranteed salary figure can be offered to each player. If not, then a tender to them that gives the club the right to match any deal which the player finds on the open market and then to retain them. The tender level also sets compensation.
These compensation will be actually based on duration of the players being drafted and also how much are they offered.
Here is the player-by-player look:
FIVE-YEAR PLAYERS
Linebacker Thomas Davis (Picked in first round)
Tackle Rob Petitti (sixth round)
FOUR-YEAR PLAYERS
Cornerback Richard Marshall (second)
Tight end Jeff King (fifth)
Linebacker James Anderson (third)
THREE-YEAR PLAYERS
Quarterback Matt Moore (undrafted)
Defensive tackle Louis Leonard (undrafted)
Defensive tackle Tank Tyler (third)
Kicker Rhys Lloyd (undrafted)
Safety Quinton Teal (undrafted)
Cornerback C.J. Wilson (seventh round)
