Better hope wisdom of Panthers  | read this item

According to the conventional wisdom Carolina Panthers is a tough team to play in December. There is some merit to this. The club has gone 21-12 in December and January under John Fox.

In this year 2009, the club better hope conventional wisdom holds just because last years December schedule is a killer.

Now the club will probably be in a position that is well with a record which could be somewhere from 7-5 to 9-3. It depends on the injuries and whether Meeks’ defense works out well.

Tampa Bay will probably, around the NFC South, be nursing a record boasting 3 or 4 wins and will be a spoiler at the best.

It is also believed that this year the Falcons’ defense keeps them grounded, and even they might have in the neighborhood of 5 or 6 wins at this point.
