Muhsin Muhammad is retiring. He has spend with the Panthers eleven of his fourteen seasons.

37-year-old Muhammad will be announcing his retirement at a news conference confirmed a team of official. He may announce on Thursday

This decision of Muhsin Muhammad comes when the Panthers did not re-sign him in the offseason.

In 1996 he was the second-round pick in Carolina and he managed to make Pro Bowl 3 years later. He later on, in 2003 season, served as Steve Smith’s complement on the Panthers’ Super Bowl team.

In 2005 he signed as free agent with Chicago and was there for 3 years. Before the 2008 season he re-signed with the Panthers.

In many receiving categories he is considered as the career leader of the Panthers.
