The Carolina signed Dan Connor, the second of their two third round draft picks. Connor broke numerous school records at Penn State, and was highly regarded as one of the top linebackers in Aprils draft, proving to be a steal for Carolina in the third round.

Panthers signed Connor to a four-year, $2.494 million contract which includes includes a $789,000 signing bonus. There’s a Q&A with Connor in our Dan Connor:3rd Round Pick, 1st Round Talent post.

So far the Panthers have signed four picks: Connor, TE Gary Barnidge, G Mackenzy Bernadeau, and DT Nick Hadyen.
