In the preseason match the Panthers will be facing Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday.

The Panthers has never won Super Bowl title till date.

Thursday’s match will be an interesting offseason match for the Panthers. Matt Moore will be the started in the

match as the team has lost Julius Peppers to free agency. Well, former Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen has also been

drafted.

In the roster the team has four QBs and all of them have the potential. Dwayne Jarrett, Edwards and Brandon Lafell are competing for the #2 spot and the #2 receiver is yet to be name by the team.

Baltimore Ravens are at #1 receiver at present and they have been seeking for in Anquan Boldin. Boldin is at #1 spot and Mason at #2.

It may not be an wondering issue if the Ravens stands among the list of top ten offensive teams.

Sunday was a dramatic day in the Super Bowl as The New Orleans Saints showed the spirit of the so called underdogs. Winning a Super Bowl , playing against one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in the game – something the Carolina Panthers failed to achieve six years back.

Taking risks is the name of the game. When one doesn’t come off, you take one step further. But you give it your everything, irrespective of the result.

Ask any football fan, : Can you imagine John Fox in a situation when the Panthers are down 10-6 in a big game, calling for an onside kick to open the second half ? If u can, then well imagination is the only way you will see it. But according to some, maybe once in a while Fox should play it a bit safer.

The Saints, as you saw, put up a real show. Their upset win over Indianapolis was filled with aggression. They caught out Peyton Manning habitually, and ultimately it was Manning interception that was run back for a touchdown to seal the tie 31-17, in Sunday’s Super Bowl.

There is a welcome opportunity for the New Orleans Saints to take a lead on Carolina Panthers in the up coming Super Bowl tournament, taking the advantage on the fact that Julius Peppers is not there at the defensive end.

Carl Nicks, the gaurd said ” I’m not going to cry,” and “That guy’s a game-changer, man.” further he added.

The Saints have been playing Indianapolis Sunday at the Super Bowl XLIV. Both Teams’, Saints and Panthers are the members of NFC South. So, the Saints have to buckle up tightly, that they are facing Panthers two times in a season.

For the Saints, it will be great to see that the five times Pro Bowl Defensive end, Julius Peppers not there to block their way to get the divisional title. It will be a welcome challenge for them. The records said that Julius Peppers during his eight years career, have intercepted a pass, five sacks, four forcefull fumlbes against the Saints.

Carl Carey, the agent of Peppers, asserted that about March 5 his client should be a free agent with out any restriction and he is also expecting that the Panthers would not tag Peppers under their franchise.

The officials of Carolina Panthers will come up to a decision with in February 5 to 25 on Peppers future.
